Treking

We have miles of mountain treks waiting for you to explore, just a short distance from the chalet is the start of the Mount Ouzon Tour. A trek around Mount Ouzon gives views of Lake Geneva and the glaciers of Mont Blanc, this tour is well signed and lasts for about 5 and a half hours, add another 1 and a half hours if you want to climb to the summit.

There are many other similar walks to be experienced.

Mountain Biking

For all the mountain bikers we have the mountains, you can either bring your own bikes or hire locally.
At Chalet Wensam for those that would prefer an easier route up the mountain we have a spacious people carrier and can help you.
During the summer the Alps gear up for a host of activities with mountain biking high up the list.
Several of the ski lifts remain open and are adapted to carry Mountain Bikes; there are many specially groomed runs down the mountain, which are graded for difficulty for your guidance.

Check out the links at the bottom of the page for more info.

Parapenting

For the even more adventurous you can have a go at parapenting, thats where you run down a steep hill or throw yourself off a mountain and trust in a thin piece of material, personally I think I will stick to skis or boots, however my wife Wendy did it in March with my stepdaughter Laura and they loved it.
